The best experience possible in a terrible situation

I’ll never quite be able to repay Cathleen Norton and her exceptional team at the firm (thanks Albertine!, Heidi and Aine) for their help in resolving my child custody issues.
Cathleen picked up the pieces of a messy divorce started by another attorney and expertly guided me through the steps necessary to fight a virtual onslaught of legal attacks designed to reduce the time I would be able to spend with him.
She was super informative, respectful of my financial issues and worked closely with me to mitigate my financial burden while pulling out all the stops during trial.
It was obvious when walking into court that everyone – from other attorneys to the bailiffs, clerks and court reporters up to the judge – liked, respected and held her in high esteem for her pragmatic approach to case management and keeping conflict low. There is really no value you can put on that in the courtroom.
I’d recommend Cathleen to any Dad fighting to have their kids in their lives, or anyone really. She exudes confidence (for good reason) and really made me feel like someone was working for me and set my mind at ease during one of the most stressful and scary times in my life.
At the end of the day she got me exactly what I asked for regarding custodial time and parental status in a very high conflict divorce. She made me reasonable when I was acting emotionally and fought like the devil for me on the issues I was most concerned with.
May you never need a lawyer for this kind of thing, but if you do, I’d highly recommend Cathleen Norton.
